WELCOME TO PORTUGAL

It is a unique experience to escape the winter and to train daily at pleasant temperatures under the sun of the Algarve in Portugal and to enjoy the landscape. 

The routes take us through orange groves and along the sea. On a resting day, a trip to Albufeira offers a nice change. Or if you prefer it  more quiet, you can just enjoy a day on the kilometer-long sandy beach.

NOTE! The following plan is only the basis for further modifications. Depending on the weather, conditions of the participants, their wishes and many other factors, the plan can be changed and regularly adjusted.

 

Training hours:
Morning training usually takes place at 10:00 and afternoon at 17:00. Starting hours and training schedule depend on the situation on site and are subject to change.

14 February 2020, Friday

 ·         Start running camp, running 6/8 km GE 1 easy run (orange groves) + stretching exercises
        17h 00min. - 18h 30min.

 

15 February 2020, Saturday

·           6/12km GE 1 easy run (Vilamoura – return along the cliffs) + stretching exercises (hurdles)
10h 00min. – 12h 30min.

·           4/6/8km GE 1 easy run (orange groves) + stretching exercises
17h 00min. - 18h 30min.

·           Organizational meeting
 20h 00min. - 21h 30min.

 

16 February 2020, Sunday

·           6/10/16 km GE 1 easy run (nature reserve/vilamoura/golf-course/cliffs)
10h 30min. - 13h 00min.

·           Free leisure time, suggestions: coffee quinta do mel, olhos de agua, trip to the port of Vilamoura or Albufeira

·           Physical regeneration: swimming pool/beach/ sauna (until 20.00h)
 14h 00min. - 22h 00min.

 

17 February 2020, Monday

·           6/8/10km GE 1 easy run + Tempo runs 10x100m/150m/200m up hill + 1km jogging
10h 00min. - 12h 00min.

·           4/6/8km GE 1 easy run + stretching exercises in the stadion
17h 00min- - 18h 30 min.

·           Integration Meeting
20 h 30min. - 22 h 30min.

 

18 February 2020, Tuesday

·            2-3km GE 1 easy run + 4/6/8/12km GE 2nd zone on the crosse pentle + measurement laktat levels
10h 00min. - 12h 30min.

·           4/6/8km GE 1 easy run + + stretching exercises in the stadion
17h 00min. - 18h 30min.

·           Free leisure time
19h 30min. - 22h 30min.

 

 19 February 2020, Wednesday

·           Run 2-3km GE 1 easy run + tempo run 8/10/12x200m-500m (stadion) + 1-2km jogging)
10h 00min. - 12h 30min.

·           4/6/8km GE 1 easy run + stretching exercises in the stadion
17h 00min. - 18h 30min.

 

20 February 2020, Thursday

·           Long run (excursion): 1. group Boliqueime, 2nd group Vilamoura

·           physical regeneration: swimming pool/beach/ sauna (until 20.00h)

21 February 2020, Friday

·           6/8/12km GE 1 + tempo run 10x100m running drills (A-skips, B-skips, running high knee) in the stadion + 1-2km jogging)

·           4/6/8km GE 1 easy run + stretching exercises in the stadion
17h 00min. - 18h 30min.

·            Meeting and discussion laktat results

·           3km GE 1 + GE 3 3rd zone (500m/1km/2km, break 3-5’)
